The casino at Grand Horizon is a physical gaming floor inside the hotel, with its own entrance away from the pools and the beach. For most guests it is one part of an evening, together with dinner at La Orilla and merengue on the terrace. This website offers no games and no online gambling of any kind.
Entrance and ID
- The gaming floor is open only to adults aged 18 and over.
- Every visitor shows valid photo ID (passport, Dominican cédula or driving licence) at the entrance on every visit — hotel guests included.
- ID may be checked again inside. Anyone without valid ID will be asked to leave.
On the floor
Table games
Blackjack, roulette and Caribbean stud poker, with dealers who explain the rules to anyone new to the table.
Slot lounge
A smaller, quieter lounge set apart from the bar, with comfortable seating and floor hosts on hand.
The terrace
The terrace is a few steps from the gaming floor — open air, sea breeze and music at weekends, for a pause whenever you like.
House rules
- Smart casual in the evening; no swimwear on the gaming floor.
- No photos or filming on the gaming floor, out of respect for other guests.
- Entry may be refused to anyone who appears intoxicated.
Responsible play
A game is entertainment, never a way to make money or to solve problems. Decide on a time limit and a budget before you start, take breaks and never play with money you need for something else.
- Ask a floor host to remind you when your time is up.
- Self-exclusion forms are available at the front desk, and our team will respect your request.
- Gambling Therapy offers free, confidential support online. More on our Responsible Gaming page.
Visits to the gaming floor are never included in room rates, and stays are never sold in packages with gaming.
